SPHERE Technology Solutions CEO, Rita Gurevich, led a Cybersecurity panel discussion focused on cybersecurity best practices at the CIO Conference and Awards Ceremony. Data breach prevention strategies were the focal point of the conversation and remains a huge concern and top priority for security experts. The event was hosted by New Jersey Tech Council on October 3rd in Nutley, New Jersey. This annual conference addressed strategies involving IT, security, operations, compliance, finance, and flexibility. Keynote speakers included Beth Simone Noveck, CIO of the State of New Jersey, along with Janet Sherlock, CIO of Ralph Lauren, and many other high-profile security experts.
SPHERE was also pleased to announce that our nomination for CIO of the Year, Bob Bardusch, Valley National Bank won Public Company, CIO of the Year. The event started with informative panel discussions from security experts across the fields of education, finance, government, and healthcare. Afterwards, the CIO/CISO awards ceremony was presented followed by a networking and cocktail reception. “I was thrilled to be leading a panel discussion with such high-ranked and accomplished panelists,” said Rita Gurevich. “It became present that collaboration is a huge part of survival when it comes to cybersecurity best practices and it’s great to see people from different fields share their experience and help one another.”
